Better Late than Never

So the last time I posted, I told you we were going to the beach in two days. I am sure that you have all been checking to see if we actually did six weeks later...well, we did and had a great time. But, I am just getting around to posting the pictures. We went to Destin with our friends Wes, Blair, and their two boys Townes and Conn. It was a rough start for Colt...
He did not want to go in the ocean or even play in the sand, then we couldn't get him away.

Our Little Fish

Wes took Colt to the pool last week, and I think that it was still a little too cold for him because he would not let Wes put him down. And all week I have been asking if he wanted to go, and he would say "no pool mama". Well, yesterday was a different story...here he was saying "I wimmin mama, I wimmin"!

And of course he had fun with daddy...


I think that we are in for a poolside summer! We are headed to the beach on Wednesday, so more pictures of our little fish are still to come.

It's a GIRL!

We are having a little girl!!! We are so excited and very thankful that she is growing and developing well. We feel so blessed and cannot thank God enough for another little miracle! Here she is smiling...she is already photogenic!
And mommy made the first girly purchase...a girl has to accessorize!

So thankful...

for my family! I had a wonderful Mother's Day with Wes and Colt. We had a great morning and went to church, then went to the Gwinnett Braves game this afternoon. It was a perfect day for baseball, and we sat in the outfield on a quilt. Perfect for Colt to run around! They even handed out carnations to all the moms...
And while this guy was about to hit...

I am so blessed to have a great husband and little boy. Happy Mother's Day to all the sweet moms who are so encouraging and great examples for me, including my own very special mom!

Wes turned 30 today, and we had such a fun day spending it together and with family. I feel so blessed to have a husband who is a wonderful father, great man, and my best friend. We love you Wes and Happy Birthday!
