She is ALL girl!

She LOVES her baby dolls, dress-up clothes, tutus, and jewelry! And...she loves a fun bubble bath!

He's growing up...

Ok, so they're both growing up especially since anyone's read this blog because its been...oh, seven months! So, I figured I better start around my favorite season of fall when a lot goes is happening!

Like starting school...Colt LOVES his new class and new teacher. He asks me every day when he is going back!

And starting soccer...Liney is the real reason he loves soccer!

Marley is definitely a princess...we usually don't leave the house without her beads! And she got the tutus for Valentine's...they are her favorite, whether wearing them over a messy dinner shirt...

She can hang with her brother, but she definitely is a girly girl. And I LOVE it!

I took the advantage...

Of getting some sweet pics while we were playing outside. The best days are those when you really don't have much planned, and just take advantage of things like playing games, playing football, and dancing!!!

So I didn't keep my promise...

It makes me sad to think that it has been 2 months since my last post, and I was still catching up on the summer and Marley's birthday! But, no need to be sad, but just start anew. So, here is just a glimpse of what the holiday season, snow, and the joy of being parents brought our way...wouldn't trade it for anything!

A Week in Review: Day 2

A couple of weeks after we went to the beach, our sweet little Marley turned 1! I cannot believe how fast a year goes by...we had a great time celebrating her birthday!

Waking up on her birthday morning and having a birthday pancake...brother helped blow out the candle!

AA was in town for her birthday (and Thatcher too, but we missed Maddie, Macey, and Big T)!

We had an ice cream party!

And Marley really enjoyed her cake!

The whole gang...we had SO much fun!

A Week in Review

It has been way too long and we have had way too much going on for me not to share. So, I have decided to try and catch you up in about a week. We will see how this goes seeing that my postings are every 2 months lately. But, I have not even shared with you our wonderful vacation to the beach with our dear friends, Adam, Carrie, and their sweet baby Cohen. So, let's start there. Over Labor Day, we took a great trip to the beach with some great friends! Here are a few highlights...

It is trips like this that we will remember forever...just to see your babies light up when they put their feet in the sand, laugh when the waves tickle them, just relax and have no schedule, and spend time and celebrate with a family who has been through so much but seen God's blessings through it all!
